MIXOLOGIST WAREHOUSE

OVERVIEW

I implemented an innovative interface to enhance the online shopping experience for Mixologist Warehouse customers. The new interface design offers a seamless browsing experience, optimizing the navigation process for customers.

Empathize - Research Needs

I performed a competitive analysis to comprehend the e-commerce companies Mixologist Warehouse competes with. By assessing the online presence of comparable companies, I was able to immerse myself in the typical user's environment and gain an understanding of their needs.

Define—Users' Needs and Problems

NEEDS

Users need an accessible and easy to navigate website that offers a wide variety of products.

PROBLEMS

Difficulty navigating: Too many options can be overwhelming, making it difficult to find specific items or compare products.

Decision paralysis: Users may become indecisive due to the sheer number of choices and abandon their efforts all together.

Ideation

PROBLEM

Mixologist Warehouse required a navigation menu that was easy for customers to find exactly what they're looking for. With thousands of products, it was important that each product was individually categorized and easily found.

SOLUTION

I needed to gain an understanding of the information architecture. In order to organize the website with a user-friendly approach, I created a sitemap. After several revisions, the interface was ready to design.

Wireframing

FIGMA + PROCREATE

I utilized Procreate to create low-fidelity wireframes so I could iterate through various ideas quickly. When I had a solid foundation of ideas, I jumped into Figma to create high-fidelity wireframes that were shared with team members at Mixologist Warehouse.
